I was diagnosed and treated for cancer. As part of my treatment, I had lots of antibiotics….then C. diff. During my first bout with C. diff, I was treated with Vancomycin. I recovered enough to be discharged from the hospital, only to be stricken AGAIN with the deadly C. diff about a month later! I was referred to Dr. Khoruts. After meeting with Dr. Khoruts and having him explain in detail very patiently what was going to happen and when. After the fecal microbial transplant, I improved! I could sleep again (after getting up to have constant diarrhea every 15-30 minutes during the course of C. diff). I am so grateful to Dr. Khoruts and his team for giving my life back to me!
