I was seeing a different doctor when I was referred to Dr. Vaughn, he thought it was a good idea to give the experimental treatment a try. I am thankful every day that I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Vaughn and his staff. I was in a really bad way when we met, I have had a few other health issues, including a triple bypass. The colitis was taking a toll on me to the point where I wasn’t sure I was going to make it, then I met Dr. Vaughn, whom I was referred to by my vascular surgeon, Dr. Karrum. Currently, I have no signs of colitis after having had FMT treatment, followed up with a colonoscopy. I really don’t think I can ever thank either of them enough because I feel they saved my life!
