Brendan Halleron
Brendan Halleron brings exceptional financial acumen and experience to the ACT board. A partner and financial planner at Affiance Financial, Mr. Halleron guides clients in achieving their financial goals and preparing for whatever situations life may present. Mr.Halleron’s focus includes maintaining a disciplined investment strategy, and developing savings plans, risk management strategies, estate plans, and more. Mr. Halleron also serves on the Affiance Financial Investment Committee.
Mr. Halleron joined the Affiance team in 2017 as an operations analyst and became a financial planner in 2019. In 2020, he obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. In recognition of his commitment to clients and Affiance Financial, Mr. Halleron was elevated to a partner at the firm in 2022.
Prior to joining Affiance, Mr. Halleron worked at Cargill within their risk management unit. He graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, where he double majored in finance and accounting.
Away from his professional responsibilities, Mr. Halleron is an avid golfer who learned the game as a caddie at Hazeltine National, most notably during the 2006 U.S. Amateur. He is also an ardent hiker and an aspiring skier, primarily enjoying the trails and slopes of northern Minnesota and Utah.

In addition to his service on the board of ACT, Mr. Halleron has volunteered as the gala emcee and member of the charity gala planning committee. He traces his connection to ACT since its beginnings after seeing Peter Westerhaus defeat ulcerative colitis while working to inspire hope for others. When celiac disease struck Mr. Halleron, he determined there was no better place to put his time and resources than toward ACT.
